Sol 714 Composite: Ancient Martian Artifacts? was created by Todd

This is a composite made from two Curiosity left mastcam images taken on Sol 714, on the drive back to the "Hidden Valley" entry point. Once again, there appear to be fashioned objects possibly stone relief carvings. The objects in the enlargements at the very bottom look less like layered stone and more like carved artifacts sitting in a row. The images were processed from the PDS raw DRCL .img files.

Great find, Todd!

From that same mosaic just above and to the right of your stone carvings I'm seeing what look to me to be these shadow-boxy objects.

Yes, those are really nice and also on the drive back to the "Hidden Valley" entry point. All of sol 710 is pretty good. These threads might help you with raw image processing.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
