file Massive Square Object on Northern Plains Junk Heap on Mars

The photograph analyzed here (ESP_035942_2295) was taken by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on 28 March 2014. NASA describes the photograph as ‘Phlegra Montes Contact with Northern Plains.’

Another massive megalithic block, this one is square with rounded corners and seems to be cracked down the middle with a smaller knob or feature on the one side.

There are also many smaller megalithic blocks with knobs littering the area.

Disclaimer:

Geometry lines are mapped as accurately as possible using the limited information, data and mapping tools available at the time, therefore the lines may deviate from target sites by a few kilometres. Revisions may be made in the future as new, more precise information, data and mapping tools become available.

Images saved from within HiView or CTX viewer do not include image scale indicators. The image scale indicators I include in images are based on the official resolutions provided by NASA and although I strive to be as accurate as possible there may be slight deviations from the actual scale. Image scale indicators are included as a size approximation tool only.

Many or all of the anomalies/artefacts covered in this presentation may be naturally occurring geological features caused by some type of geological processes, however due to the lack of specific information from the source we can only speculate whether these are all natural or some artificial in nature.

In cases where I say an anomaly looks like something I’m attempting to clarify what I see and not specifically that the anomaly is what I say it looks like.

My intention is only to share anomalies I’ve discovered on Mars and not to convince anyone that there is or was a civilization on Mars.

As Will Farrar from WhatsUpInTheSky says: “I see what I see, you see what you see.”

If Mars had a highly technically advanced civilization at one time, then it is possible that such a civilization geo-engineered much, if not all, of the planet’s surface. To my knowledge you are the only one who is examining the surface of Mars from this perspective.

You are pointing out large-ish patterns that may be evidence of such global geo-engineering. While I often disagree with your specific interpretations, the patterns are still there and they often appear manufactured to me.

Your posts are always both well documented and clear to read. Until we are able to take a closer look at what is in these videos, or someone else posts similar videos, these videos by you provide a unique and well-needed analysis. However, please do not invest more time or effort into it than you feel comfortable with.

The various shapes are very interesting, but one thing that stands out to me are the "knobs". I wonder if they're protrusions on the parent rock, or perhaps another individual rock sitting on top of the larger one. I suspect it's the former, because it would take quite a balancing act for them to be individuals sitting atop another, and repeated so many times. But what would cause the protrusions? Hard to say.

Yeah, Gitch, I thought about those too. Also thought of the alignment methods the Greeks used for stacking segments to make a column.

The knobs on the pictures you posted here might have been used for lifting them in place, but why not chisel them off after placement? The Greeks used such bosses to lift the column segments, but then removed them and carved the flutes (after all the barrel segments were in place) so everything matched.

Hi CitizenQuasar, thank you for your comment and take on these anomalies.

I wish another researcher would join us in this work. It does take up a lot of time, I'll continue as best I can when I do have the time. We are putting together a catalogue of sorts.

Thanks again.

Hi RocketDawg, the repetitive nature of these anomalies is what gets to me as well.
