Curiosity Sol 1033 Composite: Partially Buried and Broken Martian Artifacts? was created by Todd

This is a composite image made from three Curiosity right mastcam images taken on Sol 1033 while the rover was on the drive to "Missoula." There are large pieces of broken stone half buried into the hillside that appear to have shaping and possible relief carving on them. The images were processed from the PDS raw DRCL .img files, enhanced enlargements at the bottom..

A strange, roughly rectangular, piece buried diagonally (below) that might have been part of an enlarged stone structure, notice the "compartments" at the top.

The appearance of broken structure surround a pile of bizarrely shaped content that almost looks as if it's "spilling" out of the small crevasse (below).

Something weird going on here, behind the brown blob, that is.

thanks Todd, great clear image and again there is a ton of things we can see thanks to your work..I picked this out and don't know if you saw it already and I know rock formations and Pareidolia but it was still cool anyway

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
