'Kinda' hard to tell, for me anyway. Here is what grabs my attention:

"The cauliflower-like minerals found inside a Martian crater may have been created by aliens, researchers from Arizona State University have said."

To me, that someone from Arizona State University, which I consider to be an "official" source, said this is encouraging.

I just love the way the article starts off. "Conspiracy theory fans never tire of spotting rocks which look like people, crabs or bears on Mars - but NASA’s Spirit Rover might have just spotted something really important" What a load of BS! I am referring to the first half of the quote. Right there is a perfect example of the image all these misinformationists have painted on pretty much every anomaly hunter. It's pretty sad that those of us that take this stuff seriously get lumped in with the douchebags that are more interested in misinforming people by spinning an anomaly into something it's not. They falsely hype the shit out of it just for the view$. They'll turn a good anomaly into something it isn't. And if just left alone in its originality, could end up being one of those important finds. But because these dipshits will take what might be an important find and turn it into a farce, the sad truth is that the majority of people won't give that anomaly a second look. There's no doubt that this Spirit rover find could very well be an important one. But I think there have been many more important finds. It's just too bad that a lot of them probably won't be taken seriously.
