robbie the robot? was created by rkup
going back in my favorites.....I always thought this one was cool...dosen't it look like Robbie the Robot from the old movie Forbidden planet...it still caught my eye....ok I know it's not a robot...or is it?

The indentation visible on the object sitting left certainly looks like it was beveled using tools, I haven't seen any geologic layering that looks quite like that. The other pieces look carved as well but have less symmetry. Here is a version I processed from the PDS .img file. ;)

the more I looked at this one the more I found... this is another great image... but take a look at the rock that looks like a dog lying down the teeth the nose and eyes ...strecthing it a little I know but we went this far why not..

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
