Sol 855 - Markings was created by Haymaker

Original is a bit dim but markings on rock circled.. I've cropped the image.

Enlarged and through a different filter. markings that look like the letters "V C" and stickmen or maybe T shapes with circles/heads.

The "stick figures" I am using as an avatar were snapped on three separate day I have since found: Sols 796, 844, 855.

The lines on the rock in the first image look more designed than natural. they are also pleasing to the eye as if effort went into them. The circular feature in the second image looks natural to my eye and seems in keeping with the layered rock in the same image. The two odd shaped rock in the third image have a similar configuration but are not identical. These look non natural to my eye, but could be. I can't see how two rocks independently come up with a similar but odd geometry like this, so if natural they would likely have been joined at some point in the past.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.
