Yeah, I've been looking at that, saw Keith's posting a few days ago, don't know what to think about it either. It looks dark in the early images, not sure if it's just the shadow or what.

Yeah I can't tell. One thing I can tell. Its thousands of miles long! And its just sitting there! With all the dust storms and wind we know is on Mars for it to just sit there that long is crazy. Venting maybe? That is what I thought at first. I am interested to hear what the subscribers on YouTube thing as well as what Laney comes up with. He says he found the same spot with the same phenomenon at different times of year. That to me would scream the planet is def not "Dead" and could be venting something. Maybe Quaid is up there hitting the Terraform switch. Wishful thinking but I think Hoagland's going with that angle tonight. Not sure. If you check the article I put up the ISS images from the Volcanoes Erupting and some of the ESA images are uncanny. But why would it just be hanging there unless there is a bunch of it coming up.

Crazy. We went to go live and BlogTalkLive crapped out on us. It took us 30 minutes to get all 7 of us on there. The Engineer wasn't able to get on tonight. Tomorrow night we are going back at it!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
