Curious feature. I don't remember coming across one of these before. If anyone else has, please let me know!
This looks to me like a sink hole. From SOL173.
Something also curious is the label. Analyst's Notebook and PDS agree, but Midnight Planets is different.

I have had a look at the Pans on Gigapan, and tbh I think the hole can be no longer than 2 foot or 60cm sadly there is no Rover in the mosaic to get a 99% gauge - but based on the images i would'nt say it was large and far away, more in the fore ground from closer up.....

Cool find,because if you look close there are some very small drawings inside on the edges.Thought i was looking at a Viking,but it is a head facing up.There is a dog and a monster on the ends.Then there is that emblem on the very end on the right.I posted that same emblem in my pyramids post.I swear there is or was small intelligent beings drawing some of this.
Gosh, I don't see any of that.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
