Spotted this odd looking "Crater" just off to the left of the main crater - Have a look - It looks very Fabricated to me..

Hi Glitch_Neo, cool find. I checked and found this anomaly in a CTX photograph: viewer.mars.asu.edu/planetview/inst/ctx/P17_007492_1353_XN_44S331W

The anomaly is located in the bottom right of the CTX photograph.

To match the ESA photograph to the area on Google Earth Mars I need to rotate the globe 90 degrees clockwise.

Interesting flat feature with smaller circular feature out on the edge (it may even be sticking over the edge slightly - maybe an object?). The darker right-angle anomaly to the left of the large flat disk looks like it could be artificial. There seems to be some design/geometry to this shape.

Sorry Jean, I never spotted your follow up work on this one! Much appreciated - I at first view reminded me of the pools used for waste water treatment - but that was an impulse thought, I need to have a much closer look! Cheers
