Well I have been sorting all my Gigapans into relevant folders - So it's a little easier to find things for one.. Tonight I was adding this one

and I spotted this by pure accident..

The clarity of original image is not great. There is also a danger of falling victim to pareidolia especially when reflecting the image to give it a symmetry.
I processed the image below using the image file from the PDS system. I lightened the image a little.
I think the half face is on closer inspection a collection of separate rocks that look a bit like a face But as Will says you see what you see I see what I see.

I'll get me coat......
That was my next step Haymaker, to grab the PDS image and have a good nosy ... Lets face it pile of rocks or not - its a cool Martian "Ewock"

Waiting with bated breath on the PDS version.
It should be interesting. When you post it, any chance you can rotate it a bit so the Ewok will be standing upright?

I'll try and do this for you guys tonight, I've been working on something for "Marsologist" which is pretty interesting....

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them. SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest. I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
