Curiosity Sol 1509 Mastcam Image was created by Todd

A couple of unique pieces are visible in this image taken by Curiosity Rover's right mastcam on sol 1509. It appears it might have been one piece and at one time broke. They are covered with " nodules " and the left piece has an unusual banded feature (lower left), enlarged below.

I recently posted the GigaPan with images from Sol 1509. Here is the updated three frame composite and an enlarged enhancement made from the right Mastcam images taken on sol 1509. I still think this piece is significant and a good example of what artifacts integrated into mud rock might look like. This might be the only right Mastcam image of this feature that exists, I couldn't locate another one. The images were processed using the raw PDS .img DRCX files.

I have looked at this area a few times Todd, with total amazement at the artifacts caked in Martian Mud....

This was from my Pan, however Todd, the contrast on your's is excellent.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
