Curiosity Sol 924: Just a Mineral Vein? was created by Todd

There are a lot of anomalous features within and around the mineral vein. Frequently there are rectangular holes and notches present within the vein, some of them resemble usb ports. In some cases, the vein forms bulges that look more like artifacts of some kind. A good example is the left and right mastcam images taken of the vein on sol 924. Below is a four frame composite made from sol 924 right mastcam pictures. I processed the images from the PDS raw DRCL .img files.

nice work Todd ! I see mechanical looking parts in the third image @ top center. these images sure look like something had a major meltdown.

The materials in the vein are pretty diverse.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
