Bizarre HiRISE find

Hey guys and gals! I've been working on HiRISE image ESP_032283_2115_RED.JP2 for awhile now, off and on, and I keep coming back, there's so much to see on this one. These screen-caps feature a crater in the Cydonia Region (where the famous Face on Mars is located) that has an odd dark tint to one side of it. When I zoomed, I noticed a regular set of vertical lines that all began and ended on the approx. same level. I zoomed some more, and saw a regular pattern much like lace or maybe an intricate "chain-link" pattern? Also, close to the top of the crater wall, where the pattern began, there is a horizontal object that looks for all the world like a shower-curtain rod! LOL, I know it's not but it does seem to stand a bit away from the crater wall, just enough to cast a bit of shadow. Anyway, here goes:

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at. You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do! I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them. SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest. I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
