Curiosity Sol 646 Mastcam Image, A Mix of Materials was created by Todd

This image was taken by Curiosity's right mastcam on Sol 646. The image below was processed from the pds raw .img file.

An interesting combination of materials is present, perhaps an indication of a watery past. Some of the objects within the pile appear as if they have been manipulated or fashioned.

This looks to me like some "foreign" material landed there, with somewhat of a sliding splat (from right to left), perhaps partially molten at the time of impact, or perhaps molecularly disrupted by an electromagnetic molecular disruptor weapon...or something similar.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
