I am very new to this game. I have the info on the pic which is from my iOS image app. I wouldn't know where or how to pull a link out of it.

I'm not sure what that is. The raw browse jpg Mars rover pics can be found on these sites, arranged by camera / Sol.

mars.nasa.gov/mer/gallery/all/spirit.html
mars.nasa.gov/mer/gallery/all/opportunity.html
mars.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/

The raw jpg images are considered browse images at about 70%. After about a year, the rover data turns up in the Planetary Data System . There are "notebook" sites which make this data more accessible. The notebooks link to the raw and label files and there is a browse png available, both are better quality than the original browse jpg.

It helps to post a link (and credit) for general assurance that the anomaly you present hasn't been manipulated, since there are some people who like to paint over their anomalies to get them closer to their interpretation. Personally some crops are a little too tight for me and I like to see the original so as to get a better perspective of the surrounding area.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
