I recently watch one of Will's YT videos titled "Creepy feature found on Curiosity mastcam". In that video he uses fotoforensics and shows us how NASA has blurred the crap out of it. One spot in particular is above the horizon. Blurred right across the screen. Now, the more they (NASA) hide stuff, the harder people like us will try to dig. I started digging into images, just concentrating on the background. The whole time thinking to myself, they can't be that perfect, they gotta screw up sooner or later. I found this one. Sol 1221. I haven't done a thing to this image other than download and just a little zoom. Where the sky meets the horizon, smack dab in the middle. What do you see? I know what I see. Buildings apon buildings, shiny buildings. I see a city. Someone at NASA missed scratching this one. That's what I think. I haven't done any enhancing. Maybe you can make this one pop a little more with your magic Will. Let me know what you think.

First: Welcome to this forum! This is what we do here...zoom in on pictures, analyze them as we understand and are able to, and post our findings. Then see what kind of feedback we get from other forum members.

That being said, I downloaded both of these and I am examining them now. Perhaps I will post another comment in this thread later depending on what I see.

Just thinking about a Martian "city," I, as a published author, have a respect for certain GOOD writers. One of these is Harlan Ellison. Harlan Ellison wrote "City On The Edge Of Forever." It kinda' reminds me of my life. In this case, I play Dr. McCoy.

Thanks for welcome. As you you can see, the Mars "city" post was my first. And I hope the first of many as I continue my research into the Mars missions. I thought this was a good one, and worth examining. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to stop in.

Hello Danimal and welcome. :) I think we've had a couple of older threads about the Mount Sharp "city", here's one I found.

I suppose I should get around to addressing the issue at hand. Thanks for the secondary input. I will try to get around to it later today. FWIW: I am still trying to address "The Green Lady on Mars" from the "Dark Lady on Mars."

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
