The tan block definitely has a carving. Almost like a cuneiform. Note the flare on one end of the figure. That is not by accident.

I increased the contrast on that curly-shape. I dunno what it could be, if it's bendable maybe a metal?

I pointed out another curious detail. (Green Arrows). Some kind of sculpted mouth?

I used blue arrows to point to right-angled cuts in the rocks.

Great find Harry! And you are right, the mosaic is loaded with strange items.
