Since NASA has confirmed the presence of water and humidity, maybe some of the green color is due to oxidation. Could it be that we're not just looking as simple stones or rocks?

Jim, I think the reason that most of us post here, is because we believe that there are more interesting things on Mars than simple rocks and water. I believe that much of the mangled, jagged, pitted, eroded, debris littering the surface, is the remnants of manufactured metal structures and objects. How apropos it was of Will's buddy to describe it as "Uncle Jake's Junkyard". I think the surface of this planet is the ultimate study in oxidation. The rust colored dust covering almost everything is almost certainly rust, or iron oxide. I suspect that some of the other prevalent colors seen, may represent the oxidation of other metals such as copper, aluminum, and other metals and alloys.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel. They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life. I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.
