Initial Proofs From Spirit of Water was created by Badsneaker

Along its journey Spirit somehow developed a locked up right rear wheel. Even though NASA folks said the mission was doomed, something happened that no one could foresee. As Spirit kept driving that right rear wheel was turning up the Martian soil. The upturned soil revealed a layer of silica deposits in which NASA actually could actually see water molecules.

Old News? It's still cool.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
