Greetings whatsupinthesky members! I am a new member, but I have been watching Will's YouTube videos for a long time. I look forward to meeting some of you and being surprised by new and interesting anomalies! Astronomy has always been one of my favorite topics, and over the past few years I have become fascinated by the mysteries of what might be on the Moon, Mars, and beyond. I have always wondered why we haven't been back to the Moon, and the common explanations just don't make a lot of sense to me. I appreciate all the hard work that goes into the research and videos! Thank you for providing us with a place to share & communicate!!!

Welcome, MarsRodent! Feel free to post and comment here.

I remember avidly watching the "Moon race" back in the 1960s. I remember watching man land on the Moon with Apollo 11. Then I watched Apollo 12, Apollo 13, Apollos 14, 15, 16, &17. Apollo 17 left the Moon almost 44 years ago and no one, at least not publicly, has ever been back.

This seems anomalous in itself to me on its surface. In 44 years there has been plenty of time, and money, with which an industrial-sized lunar colonization and exploration could have been constructed. Instead, not only has man NOT been back to the Moon, but the Moon has been completely ignored as a stepping-stone to further manned space exploration, particularly in regards to going to Mars.

As for the space station, I remember the rotating space stations designed by Werner von Braun (head of NASA) that simulated gravity. For some reason these were scrapped. (One of these was used in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey.") Could this have something to do with a correlation between rotation and gravity that was to be kept out of public view?

I do't know, but that's my 2 cents worth of speculation that your post inspires from me.

Welcome aboard!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
