curiosity to start looking for water on mars... was created by ben evans

It looks like our Rover "Curiosity" is on a mission to find water on mars. what they mean by find water I don't understand, as Will, has already pointed them to it long ago.. not unless they aren't telling us something they know, and we don't. maybe they are trying to find the source of the water, and if that's the case they might have discovered something, and they have not told us about it yet.. I have a strong hunch by reading the start of the article that nasa is trying to cover reasons to look for water by stating another purpose yes they sound right as we need H2O to grow plant life in Martian soil, but then again nasa made a statement that: If you heat up a cubic foot of Mars soil, you can harvest around two pints (one liter) of water. According to new data returned by NASA’s Curiosity rover, then nasa went on to say that: it isn’t just a one-off lucky find, either: It seems that most of the dirt on Mars harbors large amounts of water. Now if this is the case one would think a little bit differently about the way they state there discoveries, as this don't make a whole lot of sense to me. here is a link to the nasa water amounts in the soil on mars.. and the second link is Curiosity goes to look for water H20 on mars.. thanks everyone.. that really is something to think about, as it really is a huge possibility.. I don't think it would be to hard to Tara form mars with plant life from earth depending on the soil content. that was really something interesting. thank you.. have a happy 4th
