China's Chang'e 4 Photoshop Strange Metadata & Color?

I was first stoked about the China mission like I was last time around.  I try to do my best to explain this here but I fumble around a lot trying to explain this how I see it but there is a massive amount of metadata from those first three images.   After thinking about the first images that came back Red and seeing the Planetary Society's blog about the color I thought about checking the ELA on fotoforensics.com...  That is where I noticed something strange.  All three images have the same date it was created,  All three images were created with the same two files and there was a heck of a lot of time to do some manipulating or turning the red color up in it. It may have been to hide what was up there in front of it or maybe just to add a logo.  I am lost with this one but have never seen a Space Agency leave this type of Adobe Photoshop metadata in an image.

I have created a word file here with all of the metadata per image.

Chinese Rover Reaches The Far Side Of The Moon! Chang'e 4

User Rating: 5 / 5

Star ActiveStar ActiveStar ActiveStar ActiveStar Active

Once again the Chinese have a new lander on the Moon with a fresh set of wheels.   This past week the Chang'e 4 lander with the Yutu 2 rover in tow touched down on the far side of the moon.   This is the first time any space agency has achieved this goal.  The color photos show what is a brown regolith as shown by NASA in its Moonrise images during the Apollo era images. There are not any noticeable anomalies in the immediate area as the prior mission Chang'e 3 landed in what seemed to be a debris field of ancient Moon inhabitants.  I will keep you posted if anything new comes up from the immediate area.  I have linked all of the photographs on the WUITS website.

As always I am sorry for the lack of videos.  I thank all of you who have stood by the channel and come to the website to read and contribute to all of the great Space news and personal finds of others.  The forum really has taken off.  I will be back with a tribute video to our good friend Jose Escamilla who passed away this December.  His space movies were amazing and so much inspiration to me starting my own YouTube channel and expanding my research.

Rest In Peace Jose Escamilla.  I do hope your journey takes you to the stars!

The Beautiful Blue Ina Crater On The Moon

User Rating: 5 / 5

Star ActiveStar ActiveStar ActiveStar ActiveStar Active

I myself had not been introduced to the Ina Crater and its amazing blue hue until our Forum Administrator Todd wrote his forum page about it!  You want to make sure you check out the link to the forum so you can see all of Todds files in the .png full format.  I have adjusted them down to JPG for the article. There is so much still to learn about our own planet and the Moon.  I hope that we can build the base that whipers around Washington have been talking about since the election of Donald Trump to the presidency.  Imagine what is there to find in all of the strange areas and what look to be abandoned mining facilites that we have found over all the years. (See previous Moon articles).  The helium 3 alone on the moon is worth looking into mining.  Personally I feel as if the moon was placed in its current possition for a reason by a very advanced civilization.  Everything is so perfect how we have solar and lunar eclipses that look like no others on any of the planets around us.  The distance and size away from Earth is no coincidence.  Various scientfic experiments speak to the Moon ringing like a "bell" which NASA now attributes to "Moonquakes".

Have you seen the amazing bright blue crater on the Moon?  I hadn't until one of the Administrators at our website whatsupinthesky.com Todd did an amazing job formatting these images from various sources from Apollo and LROC and shared them on our forum at WUITS http://www.whatsupinthesky.com/index.php/forum/the-moon/3145-ina-from-apollo-lroc#_=_

Here are the links to the images as the appear right to left on the top bar during the video..  This ones worth a good look!

Lunar Object Thought to be Apollo 10 Debris, Taken First by Apollo 8

User Rating: 5 / 5

{SCOpenGraph image=http://www.whatsupinthesky.com/images/moontd1.jpg}

There are three Apollo 10 70mm frames which show some kind of debris above the Moon. The frame identification numbers are AS10-28-3988, AS10-28-3989 and AS10-28-3990. The pictures were taken just above the far side crater of Ventris. The notes on the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal reference that the object is "almost certainly" a piece of mylar insulation that tore off from the top hatch as mentioned by John Young at 118:41:31. To me, the object resembles a chunk of dry wall. Below are crops from each frame showing the object in question.

I myself, in the past, had thought that the explaination was fairly resonable, or I thought it might have been a piece of accumulated ice from the spacecraft. Well, it appears it's not. Below is an Apollo 8 70mm hasselblad shot (AS08-13-2319) of the far side crater Aitken, the deepest crater on the moon located along the northern rim of the south pole. Below is a small version processed from the NASA/JSC/ASU raw tif scan.

When I originally looked at the Apollo 8 scan full frame, I noticed a prominent white spec in the upper right corner. When enlarged, you probably already guessed, it appears to be the same rogue object that was taken by Apollo 10 about five months later. A larger, enhanced version from the NASA/JSC/ASU scan below.

 Update 06/01/16:

I rotated the cropped version of AS08-13-2319 180° and turned it backwards to match the Apollo 10 perspective of the object (below). It's likely the Apollo 8 image shows the opposite side. Compare this one with the cropped version of AS10-28-3988 (top). The object appears to hover somewhere between the craters Ventris and the westen edge of Aitken on the Lunar far side.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
