Check out the raw image for a better view. The bottom one looks like a bicycle pedal. Obviously it is not. What do you guys think?

To me it looks like a piece of a machine. I can't nail it down any closer. It doesn't look natural to me, but who knows?

Actually, it looks to me like that shaft protruding vertically served as an axis that the rest of it rotated around at a right angle. The thing that curls around on the ground counter-clockwise going behind the vertical shaft looks like some kind of Pitman Arm piece to me.

It could be just my imagination, but that is the resemblance that came to my mind. This picture goes with the above picture:

Steering box, with the pitman arm just visible beneath

Here's a composite of Sol 1922 with a lot of interesting items as you've pointed out...

A lot of the debris looks like crumpled metal and machinery parts...

Nice find Fizzix, I've been meaning to comment on this one for two weeks now. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll see another image of this particular object outside of this Sol 1922 L-Cam image but it looks like a "part" off of something. It may be a small lithic artifact, a mineral replacement fossil of some kind or it could be an actual ancient "part" from something larger. What it doesn't look like to me, is something that formed via a natural process. Here's my version, cleaned up the jpg artifacts and as much color noise as I possibly could and it still looks like something that may have been fashioned to me. Enhanced enlargement below. B)

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
