Those white objects are quite interesting. I can't imagine what they are. The "propeller" looks more like a turbine compressor, but it doesn't have many blades. I would be surprised if they're not just natural occurences though, that would be shown with more detailed pictures. But one never knows.

I don't think NASA deliberately destroyed anything by running over it with the rover wheels, and I really don't think the rover's wheels impacted the large rock in the forefront, either by accident or deliberately. I just don't see any evidence of that happening.. Nor do I think that anybody's sitting around NASA photoshopping out interesting things in the pictures ... they simply do not have the time or the interest in doing so. Or at least that's been my experience after being there for many years.

Chris often sees things I myself don’t see. So I evoke the forum motto “I see what I see and you see what you see” when I watch his videos. While I might disagree with him about what is actually in the images he examines, he almost always documents what images he is analyzing as well as where they are and encourages people to examine these themselves and form their own conclusions.

Some of his videos don’t appeal to me but this one did so I went ahead and posted it. Thank you for your feedback.

My personal nickname for that propeller-looking rock is “impeller rock.” There is also one I call "Moon-pie Rock" detailed HERE on this forum.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
