file Revisit to SOL 735 Enclosure with Tool ?

6 years 9 months ago - 6 years 9 months ago #9369 by ??
I was hoping someone would bring up that "face."

To me it looks like a cross between a kitty cat and Yoda, leaning to his left almost horizontally and peering around from behind the rock. I can see two Yoda/cat-like ears pointing down and up. I see two eyes turned vertically, the lower one in shadow.

Also, nice Gigapan, Todd!

Here it is processed from the PDS raw DRCX .img file. I posted a full size version and an enhanced enlargement below.

looks like a T-Rex laying on the right side of his head. Take a look ... mouth and teeth, two eyes, and a nose.

RocketDawg, that reminds me of this one from Opportunity sol 3634.

This has totally always been one of my favorites that we have come across. It is so constructed that if we told some random person on the street that this object was from a recently discovered tomb in Egypt they would have NO PROBLEM agreeing with us and the premise.

Those could be some great videos :)

Here's another strange piece from sol 735. It's a left Mastcam image, but it looks ok. I'm unaware of any right cam image of this particular piece. The image is processed from the PDS raw DRCX .img.

It seems to me, with my limited knowledge of geology, that the lower image would be easier to explain as part of a manufactured artifact than it could by geologic processes; require fewer assumptions for the former as opposed to the latter.

...But that's just me.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
