I think it depends on what kind of .img file the image was processed from and how it was corrected from there. There is a difference between DRCL, DRCX, DRXX & DRLX. From my experience I can tell you they vary somewhat from red to cyan depending on which version. To my knowledge, the best versions (24 bit) are here, but they need to be converted to a conventional file with an image spec program, then corrected. I think version three of the Analyst's Notebook is using DRCX files right now.

Again Thanks! I'm still looking into the definitions of the image extensions, DRCL, DRCX, DRXX & DRLX et al. Plus I found a tool NasaView that I'm learning to use.

Here's one I missed, from sol 530 at site 26/0184. This is what I think is the final image taken of that particular feature, it's right on the frame edge so probably looks better on the mosaic.

Todd all I can say is WOW! You have a great eye for detail!!

I'm posting a partial mosaic. A little bit different than first impressions, but still fascinating.

Just giving it a quick once over, this caught my attention. It is pretty much front and center and then up a bit to the right of the bluish "boulders." It just looks out of place to me.

Yet another curious item lies to the left.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
