Did you ever find the bottle?

I have a question -- Am I doing something wrong?
I posted the question about the bottle on another post and it showed up here.

Should it not show up on the original post ?
(I guess that is two questions.)

Maybe a moderator merged a couple of posts?

Well anyway -- Page 8 post by Mab #8693 he had found then lost by his description what appeared to be a wine bottle.
I looked around on Todd's snapshot and the only thing I thought appeared to be similar to a wine bottle was at the 2 o'clock posn of the grey rock. So I am not sure if this is even close to what he was looking at.

Also -- what I see is the head of what I describe as a porcelain doll. Almost like what we see in some Oriental celebration costumes. But then -- that is just me,

From another gigapan was this little dolls head ( that's what I think they look like) as well. Which as was suggested could very well be spatter of molten rock in unique formation when it cooled.

Here is that pyramid from sol 467. I processed this version from the PDS raw DRCX img. file. The original is devoid of any real details, I really had to push this one.

I see what your getting at with the description of the Oriental (stylised dragon esq) type face.

Sol 753 Gigapan (great work Todd - puts my work to shame!) Has some of the most anomalies in one small area I have seen. I've snap-shotted about 20 things at least but I had to drag myself away....

4 images for you to mooch at...

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
