compress SOL 1429 Interesting Composite from the new PDS-Files

Yippiie yeah. As Todd correctly told me, it takes a little time. And so inbetween the Mastcam-Images from SOL 1418 - 1514 have gone online. One can take a look at them on the MSL Curiosity Analyst's Notebook with the following link:

an.rsl.wustl.edu/msl/mslbrowser/br2.aspx?tab=solsumm

The images from SOL 1429 are very interesting. A little composite was published by Todd recently.

By using Photoshop CS2´s "Photomerge" - function I tried to create another composite with some more images. This is the result. It seems that all images are correctly overlayed so that the fit together.

The single images were taken from the new PDS-Files.

Here are the links to the jpl-images with 70% jpg-resolution.

Recenty I published an additional Composite with PDS-Files from SOL 1429.

Looking at it you can see very many "Just a rock"´s.... B) B) B) . I have marked seven of them.

So what do you see? :) :) :)

As Todd correctly told me, it takes a little time.

From my experience, they are usually up by the evening of the scheduled release date, seems it took a little longer this time around.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
