Curiosity Sol 1516 Composite: The Base of Mount Sharp was created by Todd
This is a composite made up of three right mastcam images taken on sol 1516 showing a closer view from the base of Mount Sharp. There are some interesting formations on the slope in the background, I hope we get a better look in the near future, if the wheels stay on.

Baaaam!! And these aren't even from the PDS. Getting good with those Mosaics and colors! Check out my gigapan for my next video.. I have two... I didn't realize 855 had both the queen and the king. Wait till you all see whats in between and all over the ground in front!
The mosaic on the Analysts handbook is a joke compared to these. I sent them all to .png from the .img and . lbl then used a simple stitching software that allowed me to do it at full res. Then into Photoshop for some color balancing and here we go.. Going to make the video tonight. I noticed a bunch of people started snapshotting one or both of them.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.   They really have kept the website current while I have been busy taking care of things in my personal life.   I promised that the next video would be a long one and have a LOT to look at.  You can get lost in these Gigapans and I really hope that you do!  I spent a lot of time stitching these together and making sure that they were the best quality that I could get them.  SOL 1448 really has been a goldmine for anomaly hunters and those people who are just hobbiest.  I really hope you enjoy this one and expect much more to come from the latest batches of images!
