Interesting about the Space Force. We already have the Space Command within the Air Force (and other brances have their space activities too) but I suspect that one of these days we probably will have a Space Force. We've been thwarted in our space activities the past 50 or so years because of the cost, but folks like Elon Musk are doing a great deal to bring costs down dramatically, so eventually we may indeed have a Buck Rogers type approach to space. And I really do hope that his efforts to Mars are successful.

Linda said his BFR vehicle has twice the thrust of the Saturn V. That's not quite true ... Saturn V was 7.5 million pounds, and the BFR is supposed to be something like 11 million. It has 31 engines ... reminds me of the Soviet N1 vehicle which had 30 first stage engines with over 10 million lbs of thrust. Unfortunately, it never did work ... launch pad explosions killed many. I'm not sure you can get around reliability problems with that many engines. The Russians couldn't ... maybe SpaceX can.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by the YouTube channel and to all of our admins and forum users here on the channel.
