Why "Dirty Dozen"? The anomalies scattered everywhere across the Martian surface are treated like dirt by NASA, unceremoniously swept under the rug.
They are an embarassment to decent, "serious" scientists. The only embarrassment however, is that they eschew the true curiosity of real science to turn a blind eye to obvious evidence of intelligent design. Gotta protect that status quo no matter what!
And "Dozen"? We spend thousands of hours each year analyzing NASA/JPL Caltech data products searching for evidence that points to our belief: that Mars hosted (and perhaps STILL hosts) several civilizations that were shattered almost beyond recognition by a devasting, global-scale catastrophe. Each week, a baker's dozen (that's 13 for you younger folks) is selected for presentation in this format.
