Sure does look like a Fire Hydrant or a pole that has been destroyed and just laying in the rubble of what used to be an amazing Martian Civilization. I can only imagine how beautiful the planet must of been in its prime! Below are some of the high resolution images! Click on the image to bring it up into another window and scroll around!

The new images are coming back from the rover now that the "safe mode" problem has been fixed. I put safe mode in quotes because NASA was surely scoping this area out before allowing the images to come down in a higher resolution for us to see! Thanks to Keith Laney for sending this over to us a couple weeks back. I am just now getting around to making the video. I promise after the Jamfest I will pickup with the videos! I have so many cool images to show and not enough time to make them! Let me know what I missed on here! Can you see the ancient ruins?
